OUR HISTORY
Veryl's began in 1947. Veryl was a machine operator at Livingston Mills making $1.00 an hour. Veryl and Claire Poirier started the business on Hampden St. in Holyoke, Ma. In 1960 Veryl's moved into a new facility on Dwight St. in Holyoke, Ma. Veryl & Claire retired in 1986. Denis & Mary Ann Poirier continued the business. Jeffrey started working in the business in 1986 as the third generation. His wife Nikki started working in the business in 1997. As Veryl's kept growing, in 2000 we moved to a larger and present location at 644 Newton St. in South Hadley, Ma. Jeffrey and his wife Nikki took over the business in January of 2019. The fourth generation of family to work at Veryl’s began with Jacob doing state inspections for a couple years while in college, Patrick working co-op during high school through a vocational program at c-tech, Ryan has also studied automotive at c-tech vocational and helps with shop maintenance. Nathan the oldest, is on a different career path at UPS.
